Midnight-Chapter 1Chapter 1 The roads were darker travelling this way, but she didn’t want to be bothered with the busyness of the main streets. Besides, this way was shorter. She liked the quiet and serenity of the back roads, and since it was Friday, everyone would be out on the main drag loudly enjoying the revelry of the weekend night-life. Not something she really wanted to put up with. Drunken catcalling didn’t really appeal to her. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard a rustling in the trees to her left. She started slightly, but blew it off as the wind and continued on her way. It wasn’t long until she heard the sound again,Midnight-Chapter 1

Midnight-Chapter 2Chapter 2 Kaetvyn woke very late the next day. The sun was just about to set as she stretched and fixed herself some tea, taking it back to her room. She intended to just stay in her pajamas and have a night in the house. After all, there was no point in getting dressed just to get ready for bed a little later. But as she was tying her hair in a loose ponytail, her eye wandered to the dress hanging on her mirror and the heels sitting on the floor next to it. It really was a beautiful dress, and she decided to put it on for a little while, just for fun. Not the heels though, that was enough of a disaster last night. This time she was ablMidnight-Chapter 2
